Anja Gröhlich:
We offer a varied working day, a very good work-life balance and attractive remuneration. Our working day is characterised by a pleasant working atmosphere with a friendly team.

Editorial team:
What are the future prospects for specialists at STICHWEH?

Anja Gröhlich:
We have a wide range of tasks and a very high degree of mechanisation. The extraction of mineral raw materials has developed considerably in recent years and now utilises state-of-the-art technologies that make day-to-day work more efficient and safer.

With this in mind, we develop our equipment for the extraction of raw materials, such as scrapers, bucket wheels, log washers, screens and jigs, as well as pumps and cyclones, in line with the latest technology and the needs of our customers.

This technologisation not only makes the work more exciting, but also future-proof. Our specialists work with state-of-the-art machines and software solutions and can gain valuable experience in a high-tech environment.

Editorial team:
What entry opportunities and career paths do you offer?

Anja Gröhlich:
STICHWEH focusses on the targeted promotion of young talent and offers internships and apprenticeships.

We offer a wide range of career development opportunities that enable people to take on different positions depending on their qualifications and interests:

  • Skilled worker: entry often begins with training as a skilled worker, for example as a metalworker or precision mechanic. These professions are particularly suitable for people with an interest in technology who enjoy practical work.
  • Master craftsman or technician: With appropriate professional experience and further qualifications, such as a master craftsman or technician qualification, further opportunities open up. These positions offer more responsibility and expertise, for example in leading teams or monitoring technical processes.
  • Engineers and managers: Academic qualifications, such as a degree in engineering, pave the way to management positions. Engineers and other specialists in management positions are responsible for the planning, organisation and optimisation of our plant technology.
