Task

Washing and dewatering a mixture of water and gravel during continuous suction dredging operations.

Successful in use

The E 6518 HS suction dredger bucket wheel takes the raw material conveyed by the suction dredger directly from the pressure pipe.
Thanks to speed-regulated, load-dependent frequency control, the system responds flexibly to changing mixtures and volumes of solids.

In the bucket wheel trough, the solids settle, are picked up by the wheel body, dewatered and continuously discharged. Fine particles and wastewater flow via the overflow into the on-site wastewater pipe. The robust, heavy-duty construction and the rubber-lined wheel body ensure a long service life and reliable operation – even under demanding conditions.
