Process up to 60 t/h of crushed sand whilst flexibly controlling the grain size distribution: the STICHWEH solution combines a pre-wash channel, a split dewatering screen and a hydrocyclone to form a coordinated preparation system. The focus is on fine sand recovery. This makes it possible to specifically incorporate the recovered fine sand into the desired sand product and to adapt its composition to the respective product requirements.
To adjust the grain size distribution, the recovered fine sand can be added to the coarse sand in a continuously variable manner from 0 to 100 per cent. The range thus extends from completely omitting the addition of fine sand to adding the recovered fine sand in its entirety. The proportion can be flexibly adjusted between these two settings. This allows the composition of the sand product to be specifically tailored to the required particle size distribution.
This results in high-quality sand products with a grain size of 0/2 mm, or optionally 0/4 mm. The combination of crushed sand washing and adjustable fine sand recirculation thus offers flexibility to meet different product requirements. The focus is not solely on the preparation of the material, but also on the ability to deliberately control the fine sand content in the finished product.
