Future Day at STICHWEH

STICHWEH introduces itself to students!

On this year's Future Day, STICHWEH, a specialist in systems and processing technology for the stone and earth industry, opened its doors to three interested school pupils: Connor, Nia and Jule.
The aim was to give the young people a first practical insight into the world of plant technology and processing systems for the stone and earth industry.

The day began at 8.00 a.m. with a tour of the company, accompanied by our plant manager Mirko Wulf. Immediately afterwards, the students were given a brief introduction to the construction of a component by Tizian Hahn in the technical office - hands-on technology!

During the general breakfast break at 8:30 a.m., Frauke Hecht showed a vivid film about the machines and systems that are developed and manufactured at STICHWEH.

Between 8.40am and 12.00pm, the participants were then able to get hands-on: Under the guidance of Marc Ehlerding and apprentice Erik Wöhler, they made a metal cube - a highlight of the day and a great souvenir.

From 12:00 noon, the programme included participation in the works meeting, before a barbecue was organised from 12:30 noon. At the end of the exciting day, the pupils received sports bags with small promotional gifts - a small thank you for their interest and commitment.

STICHWEH is delighted to be able to give young people an insight into the world of work and get them interested in technical professions.
We are convinced that early orientation is the key to a successful future.
"This is proof of STICHWEH's focus on the future and our long-term commitment to the region as an employer," says Anja Gröhlich, Managing Director of STICHWEH.
