Company visit by class 10 Ga of the KGS Salzhemmendorf

STICHWEH opens doors for career guidance for KGS students

On 27 January 2026, class 10 Ga from the Salzhemmendorf Cooperative Comprehensive School visited STICHWEH to gain insights into technical apprenticeships. After being welcomed by plant manager Mirko Wulf and trainer Marc Golembek, the group embarked on an initial tour of the production areas.

This was followed by short presentations introducing the students to the professions of precision mechanic/machinist, metalworker, mechatronics engineer/electrician and welder. The presentations were given by Thomas Kaczmarczyk, Marc Golembek, Maik Becker, Fatlum Gashi and Marc Ehlerding.

Of the professions presented, the following can be learned through an apprenticeship at STICHWEH:

Precision engineer / specialising in mechanical engineering

Metalworker/specialising in construction technology

Applications for the 2027 training year are welcome.

A concluding STICHWEH film and an open discussion with Rolf Sürig and Marc Golembek rounded off the visit. As a farewell gift, all pupils received a STICHWEH sports bag with small work materials and the STICHWEH anniversary brochure.

School classes are always welcome to visit the company.
