2019 – 100 Years of STICHWEH

Our anniversary party on the factory premises

We celebrated 100 years of our company’s existence with people who are closely connected with the firm. We invited all our employees along with their families to our works in Thüste. There was time for good conversations and for getting together in a cosy and pleasant atmosphere.

Well over a hundred visitors enjoyed an interesting afternoon with lots of information about STICHWEH’s 100-year history and, thus, 100 years of sand and gravel extraction and refinement. At the Haus an der Stadtmauer, in Wallensen, the many visitors were able to get an overview of the structure and history of our company. The exhibition had been put together with great care and provided an insight for everyone into STICHWEH’s technical work practices. The premises and infrastructure were made available by the DorfKulTour association.
